This article is one of my favorites ever posted on Foundations Revealed. Thank you so much. It describes in appropriate detail the myriad factors that affect perception of a corset (or almost any other worn garment, for that matter.) As you mentioned in the article, the subject is incredibly complex. Worse yet, it is often invisible to otherwise skilled crafters, corsetmakers, and the like. There is such a tendency to focus on one fabric or detail that attracts us (or the client) and assume that ANY design that includes it will make us happy - all the while ignoring the impact of the WHOLE. You have really given us something practical to work with here, and done so in an imaginative and scholarly way. Thank you again.

Thankyou Sara :). I'm happy that you found it useful. I hope you let us know any insight you find about the subject! I feel like I only scratched the surface. (I'm sure I already posted a reply, not sure why I can't see it...so if you can see two here, that's why!)
