I have heard from cloth doll makers that dyeing with tea can weaken the fabric causing it to deteriorate and fall apart quicker. Are you worried about that?

corsetra: I'm a little bit concerned, but (as with any dye) a good wash and rinse is supposed to remove most of the residues (in this case, tea's tannic acids). I suppose it would have been helpful, though, for me to include the final wash/rinse step in the instructions, up there! (I always forget something...) Thanks for pointing this out. If someone is making a corset that will be placed under heavy strain or worn frequently, they'd probably want to avoid tea-dye.
