  Can I just clarify Seam technique 2, the method from Past Patterns 106.
When you place the two pieces together and sew one on top of the other, there is surplus on both sides? So when you do the 'fold twice' the fold coming over from the left on top is already enclosing the surplus from the other side, then this fold is covering the surplus on the right side?
