  These are very beautiful. I even like the way the interior looks *before* the lining is in place! I love that you can see the function each stitch performs :-)

  Thanks so much for demystifying stays for me. I won't be as terrified of doing them now as I have before. Now I can make good use of the roll of 6mm artificial whalebone from Vena Cava that's been in my drawer for ages.

  My apologies, but I'm sort of confused - doesn't the boning reduce the finished width of the pieces? How do you account for that in the mockup?
