I really can't wait! I really love overwired bras, and I do think they are really comfortable, personally, but I find them hard to find in my size.
Thanks Mark, I'm just starting my investigation of bra engineering and making, this article is so informative and inspiring, thankyou.
This whole series has been incredible! Thank you so much!
mark what a gem of an article, many ,many thanks, this info is so needed jane
mark wondeful info, keep it coming, this stuff is so importand so I can understand the hows and wheres of bra cutting thanks again and again jane
I hope these articles go on for some time; I have gotten more knowledge and anticipatory excitement from my sewing from these articles than from anything else I've found. Being a difficult-to-find bra size makes me keen to try making my own bras, and to have info on making my own custom underwires may be the best knowledge you've imparted yet. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
Thanks for the information. Started making custom wires this past week. It was easy once we had the right tools. Made 3 sets in an afternoon. We also found a great US source for 0.064 wire. We now have a great new service to offer our clients.
loving your articles!
i have to say though that i am having a horrible time finding "piano wire" in the US. should I be searching for a different name? can someone name a good source for this wire in the US? i'm stumped.
Hi missmeeks, Have you tried searching for “model making” supplies, model making as in radio controlled model aircraft, boats, cars and railway models? The wire is used in the models for control linkages and making small springs also the “landing gear” for small model aircraft.
